Traveling to from Uzès Paris by train to Nimes
From Paris CDG airport, go to the TGV Station located in airport Terminal 2. The name of the French railway system is SNCF.
NOTE: Book SNCF tickets and rental cars before traveling to France.
From the CDG SNCF station, travel by TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse, France’s High Speed Rail), to Nîmes Centre.
From the TGV Station in Nîmes, take ground transport to Uzès. We recommend renting a car from Europcar, Sixt, or Avis. All have offices at the SNCF station.
From Nîmes the drive via D979 to Uzès takes around 35 minutes. The distance is only 25m or 16 miles, but the road through the garrigue gets a bit curvy.
Travel to Uzès via Marseille
To travel to Uzès from Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) the simplest method is to rent a car and drive northwest towards Nîmes or Avignon and then Uzès. The distance is around 130km or 81 miles for a drive of about 1.5 hours
